We greatly appreciate your donations to our library; however, we most kindly ask you to respect our policy on donated materials:

• Please bring all donations to our front desk 

• Books must be free of mold, mildew, excessive dust and stains. 

• Books should be less than five years old and have their original covers. 

• DVDs and music must be in original cases. 

• We are unable to accept encyclopedias, Readers Digest Condensed Books, Text Books, magazines or VHS tapes. 

• Due to limited storage space, please donate up to 2 boxes at a time. 

• If a book is new and in very good condition, we may add it to our collection, otherwise it will be added to our book sale. 

• Your donation is tax deductible. We can give you a receipt for your taxes upon request. 

 

The money raised from the book sale goes to the Friends of the Somerset Public Library. It is then used for adult and children's programming, museum passes and many other items not covered by the library's budget.
